Manage preferences and exercise data rights

You can change optional analytics and advertising preferences at any time. Essential storage remains on because it supports security, sign-in, functional account features, and the record of your choice.

In the settings panel, choose “Reject optional” or “Do not sell or share” to turn off advertising. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser also keeps advertising disabled while it is active.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• confirm whether we process your personal data and provide access to it;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
• delete data, restrict processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests;
• receive data you provided in a portable format where that right applies; and
• withdraw consent, without affecting processing completed before withdrawal.

You may also complain to the data-protection authority where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.

Depending on your state, you may have rights to know or access, correct, delete, receive a portable copy of personal information, appeal a rights decision, and opt out of covered sale, sharing, or processing for targeted advertising. Use the advertising choice above for the opt-out. We do not charge different prices or provide a different level of service because you exercise a privacy right, except where law allows.

We do not describe any exchange of personal information for money as part of ordinary service operation. Where advertising technology is enabled, applicable law can nonetheless treat certain disclosures or identifiers as a covered “sale” or “sharing”; the opt-out is therefore available before such advertising loads.

To make an access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, or appeal request, email abo@baloyiabo.co.za. Include the country or US state you are writing from, the right you want to use, and enough account details for us to locate the record. Do not email passwords, microchip IDs, or other unnecessary sensitive details.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. If we deny a request, we will explain the reason and, where applicable, how to appeal. An authorised agent may write on your behalf where law allows, but we may ask for proof of authority and verify your identity directly.

Signed-in users can update profile and marketing choices, remove saved places, clear recent views and comparisons, manage private dog information, download an account-data export, and delete an account through Your account.
